1. Taking a totally objective, unemotional stance. Sure, it's not good to be overly emotional at work, but you need to let yourself be passionate. If others don't think you really care, they won't either.
2. Tuning others out. Whether you don't think they have good ideas, they aren't easy to work with, or are just plain boring, keep it professional and listen up. You need to be respectful and also know all that's going on.
