Rose Leslie, who played the strong-willed, independent "wildling" Ygritte, on HBO's Game of Thrones, is no stranger to the world of castles and royalty. She grew up in 15th century Lickleyhead Castle, near Aberdeen, Scotland, the family's home for half a millennium.After studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, she won roles on TV and at London's Globe Theatre. In the first series of ITV's acclaimed Downton Abbey, Rose traded her upstairs upbringing for a downstairs role as housemaid Gwen.
