How to Make All Your Dreams Come True During Pisces Season

From mid-February to mid-March, the frost of winter and long nights linger but the fantasy of warmth and more hours of sunlight doesn’t feel too far off (well, some days more than others). The weight of a drawn-out winter may compel us to daydream more than usual—and so too Pisces season. From February 19 to March 20, the sun moves through the mutable water sign Pisces, the ruler of the twelfth house, associated with spirituality, intuition, the subconscious, dreams, and secrets. This ethereal energy syncs up with Pisces’ interest in psychology, all forms of art, and romance.

How will your love life change over the next 12 months? Find out now!

Ruled by rational thought-clouding Neptune, Pisces is also known for their escapist tendencies. A healthy manifestation of this could be seeing (or writing or acting in) a whimsical, romantic play or film, attending a sound bath or yoga retreat, or taking a trip to a beachy destination. But they may also be drawn to substance use. One of the main reasons those born under Pisces feel the need to tune out is that their extreme empathy and constant compassion for others can feel overwhelming. In fact, all of their very deep emotions can be overwhelming at times! But if channeled in a conscious, heartfelt way, they can also set the stage for brilliant creative expression in Pisces’ work and pure magic in their relationships.

That said, Pisces season can inspire you to get creative, go after your wildest fantasies, and even heal deep-seated emotional wounds. Here, what each sign can do to make their dreams come true, in the spirit of Pisces season. (Be sure to read your rising sign, too!)

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Although you’re not usually one to hit a meditation class or get into the psychological weeds with a talk therapist, the sun’s trip through your twelfth house of spirituality stirs you to dig deeper for your mental—and perhaps, in turn, physical—health. The big picture goals you’ve set for yourself this year might feel more attainable once you commit to a regular mind-body practice (like using mindfulness app or adopting a daily journaling ritual).

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

With the sun in your eleventh house of networking and friendship during Pisces season, working with others is the key to making your most out-there fantasies a reality. If you’ve been spinning your wheels on a creative or professional project, brainstorming and/or collaborating with colleagues or friends can help you take it to the next level. And the more open-minded you can be to outside ideas, the more apt you’ll be to enjoy personal growth, too.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Pisces season, and the sun’s journey through your tenth house of career gives you an opportunity to get quirky and artistic on the job. By getting in touch with your spiritual side, having deep, meaningful conversations or creative brainstorms with colleagues, and infusing your work with with that innate, childlike playfulness you possess, professional goals will be even more in reach. The challenge: striking a balance between indulging in your imagination and actually putting in work.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

While the sun moves through your ninth house of adventure and higher education, you’ll do well to get out of your comfort zone—in a healthy way. This could look like honing a new skill by taking a seminar or class or hopping a flight to a faraway destination you’ve never visited before. You could find the experience pays off not only in a pragmatic way (perhaps leading to a snazzier resume) but in a spiritually fulfilling way, as well.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

While the sun is in Pisces and your eighth house of sexual intimacy, you’ll be aching for deeper bonding experiences with a partner. It’s the perfect time to open up about and actually make plans to explore the desires you’ve only ever fantasized about. But connecting with a partner is just one piece of the puzzle. A bit of self-work is key, as well: Practicing self-love reminds you that you deserve to be satisfied on all levels—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

While the sun moves through Pisces and your seventh house of partnership, you’ll be compelled to bounce ideas off of your partner or a close confidant. Though you often have a tendency to tackle projects solo, because you know exactly how you want it to look—and your standards are pretty high—don’t hesitate to ask for your trusted companion’s insight, feedback, or a shoulder to lean on. Embracing collaboration now can pave the way for even greater success.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

The sun’s trip through your sixth house of wellness and daily routine has you considering new ways to tackle your day-to-day to-dos. It may initially seem too challenging to build in time for a yoga class or regular meditation practice, but the ability to tap into more creative thinking now makes a schedule tweak feel more realistic. Not to mention the fact that you’ll feel more centered emotionally once you put it into practice, which makes it even easier to juggle everything else on your plate.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

It’s fairly difficult for you to be anything but intense when it comes to love and sex, but while the sun is in Pisces and your fifth house of romance, a more spontaneous, go-with-the-flow approach might infuse your bonds with even more emotional magic than usual. This could look like letting your S.O. handle the date night agenda, or sending flirty texts to a possible partner on a whim. Letting go of the reins can actually be thrilling—and have you feeling more fulfilled.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Born to be the life of the party, you’ve likely been saying “yes” to all of the invites—both social and professional—for most of the season. But while the sun moves through Pisces and your fourth house of domestic life, chances are you’re craving downtime with loved ones close to home. There’s no shame in snuggling up with your favorite book or bingeing the TV shows that make you laugh and happy cry. In fact, this downtime may very well be necessary for recharging before your calendar gets swamped all over again.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

You’ll do well to loosen your grip on your characteristic pragmatism and nose-to-the-grindstone hard work while the sun moves through Pisces and your third house of communication. Just like the world is hovering on the brink of a new season, this can be the perfect time for you to enjoy vibrant conversations with friends and coworkers, brainstorm on your own, and indulge in activities like free writing or any other artistic outlet you’re drawn to. The creative ideas and fresh perspective you come away with could inform exciting pursuits down the road.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

During Pisces season, the sun moves through your second house of income, and you could be distracted from your daily work by that electric imagination of yours. You may even be a bit frustrated if you’re stuck in a rut with your work, but the whimsical vibe of the moment can inspire you to get after that passion project, make your dream side hustle real, or actually pitch that quirky, out-there idea to higher-ups. Sure, you may not have all the details at your fingertips in the moment, but if anyone can pull it together as they go and end up seeing a payoff, it’s you.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

With the sun moving through your sign and first house of self, you could be feeling like even more of the escapist dreamer on steroids, but you’re also bound to get a burst of self-confidence. If you can believe in yourself, identify your best emotional anchors and prioritize grounding practices, it’s possible to take your most colorful, exciting creative idea to the next level. You’ve got this.
