Happy Leo season. From July 22 to August 22, the sun moves through Leo, and this season always feels like a good hard reset right in the middle of the year. We spend the first six months navigating what we want our year to be, the steps we’re going to take to manifest it, and sometimes we get sidetracked along the way. Leo season is a rebirth of some sort. It gets you back into alignment and has you reevaluate what you actually want to accomplish with the months you have left.

Mercury Goes Direct, the Nodes Shift, and an Eclipse Is Coming

Mercury stations direct on July 23, after a whole retrograde in Cancer. If you spent the retrograde in the fog, consider this your wake-up call. You spent that time with your emotions, your thoughts, your views, and your feelings, and now you finally get to step into the desires you have for yourself and be seen.

On July 26, the lunar nodes shift, with the south node moving into Leo while Jupiter sits in Leo for the first time since 2014–2015. Jupiter wants to expand, and the south node wants to make sure you’re being seen not for your ego, but for purposes larger than yourself. Where were you in 2014, 2015? What were your goals back then, if you can remember them? Did you pursue them? If not, you can do that now.

And for the main event, a total solar eclipse at 20 degrees Leo is on August 12. The eclipse makes a trine to Saturn in Aries, which means whatever begins under this eclipse is going to have substance, and it’s going to last. If eclipses scare you, when one comes and it feels like chaos is around, it’s not chaos for chaos’ sake. This is chaos shaking things up so you can see what needs to be adjusted.

This is your time to be seen.
