How to Make Your Own Luck This Summer, According to the Stars

Buckle up. Summer 2026 is one of the most astrologically loaded seasons in recent memory, and knowing what’s coming is half the battle. Here’s everything you need to know to stay ahead of the stars.

June 21 marked the summer solstice ushering in Cancer Season. If you haven’t clued yourself in yet, this is the summer of retrogrades. From June 29 – July 23, Mercury will be retrograde in Cancer. The post retrograde shadow eases up on August 9. With Mercury in Leo, your communication will get an added boost. 

Note: Jupiter will be in Leo all summer long giving Mercury in Leo an added boost. Think of it as a universal affirmation. Yes, you are just that amazing, you know? Pay attention carefully to your words and the words of others from June 30 – August 9. Keep a list in the notes app on your phone and use that as a guide to more effectively communicate on August 9.

Making Your Own Luck in July 

July 7 – Neptune begins its retrograde journey in Aries 

This shake up with Neptune will have you day dreaming. There will be a boomerang pushing us back into reality at the end of July when Saturn goes retrograde in Aries on July 26. Saturn is always here to give us a reality check.

Note: Between July 7 and July 26 you’ll want to lean into your delulus. Restructure your “vision” of your reality. It is more likely to stick, especially if you go with the flow on July 7. Make note of what happens on July 26 in relation to the new goals you set on July 7. It will be important in the year to come. 

July 26 – North node of fate moves into Aquarius 

For the next 18 months the Aquarius north node brings a focus on innovation and humanitarianism, aka your moral and value systems. During this time ask yourself, what are my values? And what do I want to revolutionize in my life? 

Note: It would be good to include work around your moral and value systems when setting your goals on July 7. The north node is a powerful subconscious amplifier. This placement is often thought of as a definer of our life’s purpose. 

Eclipse Season Brings Rapid Change 

August kicks off a dynamic period with two eclipses. The first eclipse takes place on August 12. This is the total solar eclipse in Leo. Beware of travel plans going awry and communication being unclear. 

The second eclipse will take place on August 28, a lunar eclipse in Pisces. This placement opens us up to tenderness in our connections. Yes, this could be a very good time to deepen any connections. Open your heart to the possibilities. 

To close out the whiplash of the summer season, on September 10, Uranus goes retrograde in Gemini. This is a great time to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and assert ourselves. Take back your agency during this period. 

Note: Venus enters Scorpio on September 10. As retrogrades always have a tendency of revealing secrets, so does Venus in Scorpio. This is a day where all those nagging hunches will come out affirming your intuition. With the added boost of Uranus in Gemini, you’ll be prepared to face just about anything.
