November 1 marks the fourth season premiere of The Gilded Age, our favorite piece of history, which ended last season with a few cliffhangers we hope to address immediately so we can dive back into the theatrics of fashion, affairs of the heart, and high society. For your viewing pleasure, we aligned each character with a zodiac sign. Read more below!

Aries: George Russell

George Russell is a ruthless railroad tycoon. Nothing will stop him from achieving his goals; success is in every Aries’ brain, which is why they won’t stop until they get what they want. While Russell has tender moments, he’s 95% go-getter, like the fire sign.

Taurus: Arthur Scott

Arthur Scott is a diligent pharmacy owner who has overcome adversity in his life. Similar to Taurus, he keeps going and working hard to ensure his family has the life they deserve. He’s known for his stubbornness, which is an attribute of the earth sign.

Gemini: Ada Forte

Ada’s fortune and personality flip in the series, making her align with the dualistic nature of Gemini. She was once a shy, sweet girl who became a powerful figure in the upper echelons of New York City society, even outranking her once-domineering sister.

Cancer: Marian Brook

Yes, Marian defies norms, but that is what makes her align with the zodiac sign Cancer. IKYK that the crab walks side to side at its own pace and does as it pleases when it wants. Cancers, like Marian, have their own way of thinking, living, and loving.

Leo: Gladys Vere

Gladys needs a ride-or-die who will stand by her through thick and thin. Leos require 100% loyalty and will not settle for anything less. On occasion, Gladys can be slightly dramatic and a bit of a diva, which Leo can relate to, especially growing up in metropolitan royalty.

Virgo: Peggy Scott

Peggy Scott is an intelligent woman who’s destined to be a writer and journalist. Since Mercury, the planet of communication, rules Virgo, it’s a safe bet that Peggy is a Virgo. She is pragmatic, demure, and whimsical at the same time, as most Virgos are.

Libra: Mr. Bannister

Mr. Bannister can be a snob at times, but so would anyone if they were the butler of a mansion for one of the most elite families that run the city. He has an old-fashioned air; however, he balances it with his wit, like Libra.

Scorpio: Agnes van Rhijn

Agnes van Rhijn is the widowed matriarch of the old-money Van Rhijn brood. Her son Oscar wipes out the family fortune, so, like the water sign Scorpio, she experiences several ups and downs that are plot twists for her character (which she does not appreciate).

Sagittarius: Dr. William Kirkland

Dr. William Kirkland is a respected figure who is seeking a new purpose and has a desire to help others. He has a spark within that encourages him to soar, regardless of the obstacles he faces. Sagittarians are known to lean into that positive mindset.

Capricorn: Bertha Russell

As the matriarch of the Russell family, Bertha is a strong-willed mother and wife who believes in order and protocol. Bertha is the CEO of New York City wealth, which connects her to the always-ambitious, disciplined sea goat. She makes the rules for her cohorts.

Aquarius: Ward McAllister

Ward McAllister wants to change the scene and lead people toward a new way of thinking, much like the sign Aquarius. He is open to any modern ideas or contraptions that come into the city to usher in greatness, particularly innovation and independence for all.

Pisces: Larry Russell

Larry is a sensitive soul who seeks joy in architecture. His imagination and romantic side are astonishingly Piscean because he is kind-hearted and artistically minded, which is a 180 from his parents’ demeanor. They’re polar opposites in their aspirations and the lifestyle choices they make.
