This Aries actor will do anything for his roles...

New Delhi native Suraj Sharma had a steep learning curve when he signed on to play Rinku Singh in Million Dollar Arm, the Indian cricket player who became a Major League pitcher with the Pittsburgh Pirates. "I didn't know anything about baseball, and I don't like cricket," he admitted.

Plus the right-hander had to learn how to pitch as a leftie! "The first time I pitched when the camera was rolling... I threw into the crowd."

He had to bulk up, too. "I worked out a lot and ate a lot." Which sounds a lot easier than what he had to endure for his role as the stranded teenager in The Life of Pi - he lost nearly 40 pounds!
