In 2013 long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad finally realized her lifelong dream when she swam from Cuba to Florida. She did it without a shark cage. She did it at the mercy of poisonous jellyfish stings and relentless sun, salt, and waves. She did it on her fifth try. And she did it at 64.

Diana is no pushover, thanks to her Fixed Sign! Failure has only fueled this Lion's determination. A heart condition kept her from competing in the 1968 Olympics, but she went on to be an award-winning, world-record-holding swimmer, tennis and squash player, author, motivational speaker, sports commentator, and radio-show host.
