Both Aquarius and Pisces have their own unique personalities and often feel like they’re misunderstood, which is the perfect foundation for bringing them together in a love match. Aquarius is always coming up with new ideas and experiments, and creative Pisces admire their Water Bearer’s innovation and willingness to be “out there.”
Emotionally, they aren’t always on the same level—as Pisces is deeply compassionate and understanding and Aquarius can be rather detached and aloof. But they both share a deep passion for humanitarian work, which can bring them together in ways that other activities and experiences can’t. Pisces can be very naïve and gullible at times, which Aquarius tends to take advantage of. And Pisces gets their feelings hurt a little too easily, which Aquarius will probably be oblivious to—especially if they (unintentionally) caused that hurt feeling. Aquarius is ruled by dedicated Saturn and the eccentric planet, Uranus, which focuses on innovation, experimentation, and rebellion. Aquarius loves to be seen as unique, extraordinary, and finds few reasons to color within the lines. They don’t often listen to the voice of authority and consider themselves a rebel with a cause (which is usually to try to make the world a better place). Uranus has a worldly, futuristic effect on Aquarius, and they can’t be held down. Pisces, on the other hand, is ruled by philosophical Jupiter and dreamy, spiritual Neptune, which gives Pisces their intuitive, sensitive approach to life. They can be a bit naïve, as they choose to live in a bubble of idealism. Yet, logical Aquarius will often thoughtlessly pop that bubble with their unsolicited input. Creative Pisces, however, can keep up with Aquarius when it comes to their desire for new concepts and ideas. All in all, they can provide wonderful emotional support for one another. 
Aquarius is a sometimes-restless air sign who needs plenty of freedom to be happy. They are ruled by their logical thoughts and they always have a lot going on in their minds. Pisces is an emotional water sign—and because of that, thinking logically isn’t their strength. They have a strong sense of intuition, and they often rely on their feelings to make decisions. Together, these two elements can be either extremely complimentary or a complete disaster. They can learn a lot from each other, but Aquarius will have to be willing to be a little more understanding and compassionate. On the other hand, Pisces will have to understand that Aquarius isn’t the most romantic sign in the world (and try not to take it personally!).
Aquarius is a stubborn fixed sign and might insist that their way is the highway. Pisces is a mutable sign, so they will probably be willing to go along for the ride with their Aquarius partners. But the power balance can get off between these two pretty easily. When working as a team, they won’t argue over who gets the credit. But Pisces can be easily hurt—especially when they don’t feel appreciated by Aquarius.
Romantically, this pair has a fun, creative time in the bedroom, but Pisces will no doubt long for more emotional connection that Aquarius is willing to give. Aquarius will appreciate Pisces’ dreamy fantasies and seductive charm, but when Aquarius seems too aloof or doesn’t respond in the right way, Pisces will start to wonder where their mind is. Pisces wants to experience the experiences of a romantic novel, but unfortunately, Aquarius is much more science fiction.
