Love Compatibility
Find out if your partnership will go all the way. Some Sun Signs naturally work well together, but others need to compromise to make it work!
Capricorn
Aquarius
When you look at this couple, they don’t seem to have a lot in common. Capricorn is serious and introverted. Aquarius is outgoing and nontraditional. Capricorns like stability while Aquarius likes surprises and innovation. So, can these two come together to form a lasting relationship? If they’re able to learn from each other instead of criticize each other’s differences, there’s a chance of long-term love.
Capricorn tends to take a very serious view of the word, preferring to spend a lot of their time on taking care of their responsibilities, both personal and professional. Aquarius can be quite out there, interested in experimentation and innovation rather than sticking with things in the traditional sense. Capricorn is often fascinated by how their Aquarius partner’s mind works, but they can never begin to understand it. And while Aquarius appreciates their Capricorn partner’s hard work and ambition, they can’t always comprehend their logic. Capricorn is ruled by ambitious Saturn, which shows where they get a lot of their drive for success. They find pleasure in working hard to obtain their goals (both personal and professional) and are always looking for ways to get ahead. Aquarius is co-ruled by both Saturn and unconventional Uranus, the planet of progressive, innovative thinking. This is where Aquarius’ love for all things unusual comes from, and they can use it to encourage Capricorn to think outside the box a little more. Capricorn, on the other hand, can use their responsible nature to guide Aquarius toward a more traditional way of life, but it doesn’t always work in the long-term. Aquarius craves their freedom and is prone to acts of rebellion if they’re not allowed to be themselves.
Capricorn is a logical earth sign and likes to do most things by the book. As an exploratory air sign, Aquarius likes to go with the flow, ignoring rules (and sometimes even laws) like they’re mere guidelines. This might be where their biggest differences lie. Capricorn’s goal is to get approval and be rewarded by working within the system and coloring within the lines. Aquarius’ goal is to also find success, but to do it by being a rebel, an innovator, and a pioneer. Capricorn is a cardinal sign and will always want to take the role as the leader and initiator. Aquarius is a fixed sign, making them relatively stubborn and unyielding—especially when the two argue. There can be a lot of power struggles between these two that aren’t easily resolved, and a third party (such as a friend or professional counselor) might have to step in and play referee. It’s only when they reach a compromise and agree to work toward a common goal that they make the best team. Romantically, sex can be good, but Capricorn is much less into experimentation than Aquarius. Capricorn has the strength and stamina to go the distance physically. But mentally, they might not have what it takes to satisfy Aquarius in the long-term. Capricorn wants tradition and class in the bedroom, and Aquarius usually laughs in the face of such banality—which is never healthy for a sexual relationship!
