Have you ever seen a couple so totally opposite in every way that you don’t even know how they could possibly be together? Well, you were probably looking at a Taurus/Aquarius pairing. Conservative, business-minded, and stubborn, Taurus clashes with Aquarius' unconventional attitude and eccentric behaviors. Aquarius, a “flower child” may be disgusted by Taurus’ materialistic lifestyle. Meanwhile, Taurus just doesn’t “get” Aquarius' fancy-free point of view of the world. It is an odd couple for sure.
Once you get past the many, many differences, they do have some strengths. Both are fixed signs, so each brings stability and dependability to the relationship. Both are very passionate people (in different ways), so if they are fighting for the same cause, they can be an unstoppable team as they each bring something to the table. 
This pairing works when they try to bring out the best in each other by using their own abilities. Taurus’ blunt way of speaking and conservative views can push argumentative Aquarius’ buttons—feeling more alive than ever before. Meanwhile, Aquarius can be a breath of fresh air to the stubborn and temperamental Taurus. They just need balance.
Again, the chemistry is a little off. Taurus is a very physical lover—hands on and sensual. Aquarius, on the other hand, gets off from mental foreplay. Taurus has an affectionate side—especially in the bedroom—so the unemotional Aquarius will make them feel very insecure about their lovemaking abilities. Meanwhile, Aquarius is a more cerebral lover and might be turned off by Taurus’ sensuality as being too demanding. This relationship has a lot of compatibility issues for many reasons. One is that both signs want two different things in life. Taurus wants to feel happy and safe, next to a person to share their safe home with. Aquarius needs wide open space and the freedom to roam wherever they please. Aquarius is a social butterfly who has plenty of acquaintances but not as many close friends, while Taurus is an introvert with a few deep, treasured friends. Taurus cares about saving money; Aquarius considers currency to be a mass hallucination. Aquarius is on a mission to save the world. Taurus just wants to save themselves. Neither can understand how the other person thinks. Seriously, Taurus’ hard head might explode when Aquarius tells them all their conspiracy theories. Hard pass.
If you’re dead set on this relationship (despite everything mentioned above), the best thing you can do is learn to share common interests and have hobbies outside of the partnership (and Aquarians have many hobbies). If they find a shared interest and have mutual respect for each other, this relationship has a fighting chance. Although, it doesn’t hurt if Taurus could learn to bend a little and Aquarius could become a little more realistic.
