This series first introduced Hugh to American audiences when it was shown on PBS’s Masterpiece Theater. Hugh made a name for himself on British TV, primarily in comedic roles, but is known in America via his dramatic portrayal as brilliant and disagreeable Dr. Gregory House. Hugh won Golden Globe and Screen Actor Guild awards for House M.D., and has hosted Saturday Night Live.
