Stress and changes in beauty routines can result in an itchy, flaky scalp. Ick! Not good for you, Cancer.

If you're crunched for time, you may fail to properly wash your hair or wash it less often, a strategy that can backfire. Failing to thoroughly rinse after washing and conditioning you hair can result in a flaky buildup on your scalp.

Use a moisturizing shampoo a couple of times a week. If itchiness persists and you can't see a dermatologist right away, warm some olive oil and gently massage it into your scalp with your fingertips. Leave on overnight and then wash it off in the morning. Relief!
