Tips for surviving possible disasters as you count down to critical mass.
It has been talked about, written about, and dreaded... and now it's here! We have moved into the year 2012 and the fuss over a date - December 21 - mounts.
As the countdown continues, millions of people will wait, watch, worry, and wonder. Is this Armageddon, doomsday, or the end of the world? What is going to happen? Nobody knows for certain, but prophesies abound and the predictions about this landmark date are packed with many foreboding scenarios.
Theories:
There is the theory about the ending of the Mayan calendar, or a galactic alignment, which will trigger solar storms that may knock out power grids. Another is that Ni Biru-Planet X or meteors will collide with the Earth, and others speculate that there will be a multitude of cataclysmic events - earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, tornados, floods, tsunamis, droughts, global financial collapse, political unrest, and wars. By the way, December 21 is also the day of the winter solstice.
However, signs of change have been apparent for a long time, and over the past few years we have seen the indicators and witnessed some horrific disasters and devastation. Many people have been feeling out of sorts and restless - uncertain about their careers, unhappy in their relationships.
Obviously, something is not right with the world. Something is going on. Indeed, we are living in times of darkness, and December 21, 2012 is said to be the date when critical mass is reached. It is the grand finale.
On the other hand, there are those who view this anticipated event as the biggest hoax since Y2K. But, keep in mind, Y2K was expected to be a "technological disaster," perhaps because of our over dependency on computers. Earth inhabitants had created the catastrophe for themselves. However, the events forecasted for the feared date in December are cosmic - beyond our comprehension and out of our control.
So, don't take these cosmic prognostications lightly. Remember, forewarned is forearmed. Be prepared by expecting the unexpected and plan ahead with a short-term survival kit and survival thinking.
Survival Tips:
1. Be practical
The momentous date occurs on a Friday. So, consider taking a long 3 or 4-day weekend. Avoid travel during that period. Stay away from oceans and high mountainous areas. And, keep away from dense wooded areas to avoid fires. Some people may feel better leaving big cities to be out of range of tall buildings. And, stay near people - there is safety in numbers.
2. Have supplies on hand
Keep a reserve of canned foods and bottled water, warm blankets, a battery-operated radio, candles and matches, a cell phone/smart phone, cash, or maybe even gold or silver jewelry in case paper (checks) or plastic (credit cards) are rendered useless. Include any items you need on a daily basis: eyeglasses, medicine, and basic hygiene items such as tissue paper and towels.
3. Spiritual preparations
About two weeks before the epochal event, perform an aura cleansing to eliminate all negative energies within you. Bathe in soothing warm water. Breathe rhythmically, meditate calmly, and visualize yourself surrounded by protective white light. Burning incense or candles will take the edge off the atmosphere. Wearing or carrying a crystal will also be helpful. Minimize the intake of meat, caffeine, alcohol, and sugar. Avoid stress and get plenty of rest. Above all, stay alert and focused. Keep your composure, and don't lose your head by reacting to the tumult and becoming a victim of mass hysteria.
4. Preparation Rituals
It is believed by spiritual savants that December 21, 2012 marks a shift in consciousness, and that the Earth will be transiting from the 3rd dimension to the 4th dimension. Thus, harmonizing with the energy may ease the discomfort of this transition. Practice a preparatory ritual such as dancing or chanting, as shamans are known to do in order to achieve an altered state of consciousness. Also, meditation groups are springing up across the globe. Check the internet for one near you. Tuning in to the universal mind will be very important for survival.
Final Thoughts:
Accordingly, the savants are expecting this momentous happening to actually be a mass enlightenment and, when the worst is over, the world as we know it will cease to exist. We will be living entirely in a higher dimension. Telepathy, time travel, astral projection, and teleportation may become part of our everyday lives. The world will most likely be a better place, with more peace, harmony, and tranquility in the Universe.
